Come to the historic Spring Hill Ranch on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 9 - 11 am and experience ranch life by performing typical daily chores of gathering the eggs, milking goats, mucking stalls, and caring for the horse. Upon completion of each chore, kids gain a sticker. When all chores are done a Spring Hill Ranch Certificate is earned. From 12 noon to 4 pm, enjoy a wagon ride behind big draft horses pulling a historic wagon. Other prairie fun activities continue on Sunday and Monday. Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve is located two miles north of Strong City on Kansas State Highway 177 (the Flint Hills National Scenic Byway) and is a unique public/private partnership between the National Park Service and The Nature Conservancy.
