Join us at the Carnegie Building on Sunday April 9th for a chance to participate in a massive City of Lawrence Build using LEGO®! Students can construct KU, Downtown Lawrence, their own home, schools, playgrounds, parks etc. all out of LEGO®. Students will explore hands on architecture through learning about overlapping and how buildings are so strong! All LEGO® will be provided by Play-Well. Session 1- 2:00pm-3:30pm Session 2- 4:30pm-6:00pm (Both sessions will be doing the same builds) This is a Free event for kids ages 5+ Tickets are only needed for kids. Click "Register" to reserve your spot. We will have a sign-in the day of. This is an free open-play event to cooperativly create buildings, structures and landscapes to build the City of Lawrence. Doors open at 2:00pm for the 1st session and 4:30pm for the 2nd session. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to participate with their child. All LEGO® will be provided by Play-Well. Students will not get to keep any of the LEGO material. We suggest taking pictures. We will email also email all registrants pictures afterwards.
