A festival for the entire family. Displays feature antiques and collectibles including barbed wire and fencing related tools. The show opens on Friday morning. Display area and craft fair opens to the public on Friday morning at 8:00am. A special food and fun event will be held on Friday evening at 6:30. Exhibits reopen on Saturday at 8:00 am with special events for the kids, and the Barbed Wire Auction at 3:00 pm. The World Champion Barbed Wire Splicing Contest tests competitors' strength and speed as they attempt to splice a mock barbed wire fence in hopes of capturing the world championship. Other events throughout the community for all ages. Exhibits close at 3:00 pm and the Candlelight Banquet rounds out the evening at 6:30 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday morning at 11:00 am with an old-fashioned community church service and free picnic open to everyone.
