A farm boy born and bred, Robert MacRae grew up in rural Montgomery County where he was a 4-H club president and editor of his high school newspaper.
After graduating from the University of Kansas, Robert spent two years helping to organize the inaugural Wheat State Whirlwind tours of the sunflower state for KU faculty.
Although residing in England since 1998, Robert remains dedicated to capturing the special beauty of Kansas. Even after being published in national British periodicals like The Independent and The Telegraph, Robert says nothing compares to the thrill of being able to share images from his frequent "gravel travels" in Kansas.
