Jerry's Ebert's Raisin Pie

  • 1 pie shell with top crust
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sweet cream
  • Constarch for thickening agent

Cook raisins in water. Add sugar, cream and vinegar. Thicken with cornstarch. Pour in unbaked pie shell, put top crust on and seel well. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees until done.
