Green Beans with Mushroom Caps

1 pound fresh snap beans or 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen green beans
1 pound fresh mushrooms
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp pepper

Trim ends of fresh beans. Place in saucepan with one inch of water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook, covered 10 minutes or until tender, drain. If using frozen green beans, prepare according to package directions. Meanwhile, wash mushrooms and remove stems. Cook mushroom caps in butter and lemon juice over medium heat five minutes. Season mushrooms with pepper. Pour mushrooms over green beans. Makes six servings.
