Great American Cattle Drive
More than 5 million Texas longhorns were herded along trails to railhead towns from 1867 to 1885. Last year, greenhorns and experienced riders alike honored those drovers and Kansas' cowboy heritage with a three-day drive. The drovers led 140 cattle to the end of the trail in downtown Ellsworth.
