Bill Fales - Photographer - Derby
Bill moved to Kansas from Massachusetts as a young adult, and has never regretted that decision. Bill has been interested in photography for as long as he can remember, and in 1995 he got serious about his craft and created Coastal Plains Images as an outlet so the public could also enjoy his photographs.
Bill's primary focus is as a Nature and Wildlife photographer. He loves photographing all areas of Kansas, but specializes in the Flint Hills and surrounding areas. Bill's work has been seen in several publications, specifically KANSAS! magazine, and is on permanent display at the Derby City Library. Bill's goal is to show the world that, contrary to popular belief, Kansas is not flat and boring, but is diverse, unique, engaging and beautiful!
