Alan HoneyAlan Honey - Photographer - Manhattan

Although relatively new to Kansas, Alan's great, great uncle, J. W. Honey, was a journalist and photographer in Miltonvale in the 1880s. Alan continues that tradition with a portrait studio in Manhattan. He enjoys the diversity of projects that magazine photography offers and enjoys meeting all the interesting people. Alan has contributed to other magazines throughout the west but especially enjoys working with KANSAS! magazine because he gets to explore the state through his assignments. When not discovering exotic parts of Kansas, Alan likes to travel and photograph in Europe, especially Italy, where he lived for two years. Fortunately for him, Alan's wife is a wonderful Italian cook and keeps him well fed.
