Pony Express Yellow Brick Road Trip

Between April of 1860 and November of 1861, the Pony Express, maintained communications between the east coast and the west coast of America by carrying official mail between Missouri and California. To carry the U.S. mail over 1,800 miles of wilderness, Pony Express riders changed horses about every 12-15 miles. Discover the 139 miles that ran through Kansas as well as other stops along the way.
