So pack your chaps and spurs and get ready to step into Kansas' wild West history in Dodge City!
Walk where legends, such as Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson, tried to turn unruly outlaws into law-abiding citizens. Be transported back in time as you visit and the Gunfighter's Wax Museum and the Fort Dodge Museum. Or see ruts from the Santa Fe Trail. From cowboys to casinos, this historic town packs a wallop of fun for all ages.
Dodge City is where the wild was put in the wild West. Tamer than it once was, today's visitors can meander the Dodge City Trail of Fame, with its lessons from real folks who made history.
Step back in time at the Boot Hill Museum where you'll find more than 60,000 objects that belonged to the town's original residents. Then, stroll the boardwalk and dart behind a swinging saloon door when the occasional (staged) gunfight ensues. For bigger kids, skip the corner card table and try your luck at Dodge City's Boot Hill Casino.

Dodge City Days packs in more than 50 events. Kick up your heels at the a street dance. Tempt your tastebuds at the calf fry or barbecue contest. See Dodge City from a different perspective with helicopter rides. Or enjoy a long-standing Kansas tradition...the Dodge City Days Rodeo. This rodeo features steer roping, "Xtreme" bull riding, Miss Rodeo Kansas and teen pageant, youth rodeo, PRCA rodeo, and fireworks.

With one of the only mesquite grill kitchens in these parts, the Central Station Club & Grill in Dodge City is a railroad-themed restaurant, complete with a dining car and railroad memorabilia.
Known for their Porterhouse steaks, Central Station offers hamburgers, chicken, pasta and barbecue to satisfy has any craving. No meal can be complete without their decadent chocolate cake.
