
HISTORY
TourKANSAS (also known as the Kansas Motorcoach Marketing Alliance) is a statewide association of packaged travel suppliers (attractions, casinos, destination marketing organizations, hotels/motels, receptive operators, restaurants, transportation providers, allied partners, etc.) founded to help tour planners execute successful Kansas tours. TourKANSAS is the only statewide organization marketing directly to professional tour operators and group tour leaders domestically to increase the packaged travel market to Kansas.
MISSION
Our mission and vision is to be a cutting edge destination marketing organization dedicated to the growth and marketing of packaged travel and tourism in Kansas. TourKANSAS aggressively markets its members and the state of Kansas to tour planners throughout North America.
MEMBER BENEFITS
TourKANSAS was formed on the premise that the individual members would benefit more as a cohesive marketing unit, rather than a single entity. Members share information and ideas in an effort to better sell each other. Membership meetings are held quarterly by various methods (i.e. conference calls, actual meetings, webinars, etc.) All correspondence will be sent out via e-mail.
Tour Planners recognize TourKANSAS members as those suppliers who have made a commitment to provide quality service to the motor coach and packaged travel market. TourKANSAS membership will give the credibility needed in this market to increase sales.
