Post Rock Scenic Byway
On the high plains of Kansas, trees are scarce. To make up for the lack of wood, innovative immigrant farmers split limestone into post rocks that still serve as durable fenceposts along parts of this 18-mile stretch of K-232. The Post Rock Scenic Byway connects Wilson with Lucas and runs along the eastern shore of 9,000 acre Wilson Reservoir.
