Inge's Apple Cake

1 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oil
5 c. diced, unpeeled apples
1 c. chopped nuts
1 Tbsp. vanilla


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. Mix both sugars, eggs, oil and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add egg mixture. Fold in apples and nuts. Batter will be thick. spread into the prepared pan. Bake 45-50 minutes or until tests done.
