After graduating from the University of Kansas, Robert spent two years helping to organize the inaugural Wheat State Whirlwind tours of the sunflower state for KU faculty. Although residing in England since 1998, Robert remains dedicated to capturing the special beauty of Kansas. Even after being published in national British periodicals like The Independent and The Telegraph, Robert says nothing compares to the thrill of being able to share images from his frequent "gravel travels" in Kansas. She started writing in journalism classes in high school and went on to write for the Royal Purple yearbook and Kansas State Collegian while at college at Kansas State University. One of her favorite things about writing is interviewing and meeting the most fascinating people and being able to share their stories. After graduating with degrees in public relations and print journalism from Kansas State University, Kristin worked at the K-State Alumni Association and on the K-Stater, Kansas State University's alumni magazine, for seven years until her first child was born. Now, Kristin spends her time raising her three children, while freelance writing about three of her favorite things - the state of Kansas, Kansas State University and the town of Manhattan. She feels privileged and honored to be able to write and share stories about her beloved state of Kansas.
