Riverside Park and Campground

Nestled along the bank of the Neosho River and located on the southwest edge of town, the historic Riverside Park offers softball, baseball, horseshoes, volleyball, swings, slides and merry-go-rounds. The park has beautiful shady picnic areas, shelter houses, a skateboard park, two community activities buildings and a little theater that hosts basketball, gymnastics, powerwalking, Iola Recreation workshops and game room. Riverside Park is the home to Iola Mustangs football in the fall and the Allen County Fair and Rodeo each August.
