PrairieSide Inn is located west of Denmark, Kansas. This area is known to be prime hunting area for deer, pheasants, and turkeys. The hosts manage over 2000 acres of prairie, creek bottoms, and farmland, and will enjoy having you as their guests during hunting weekends.
PrairieSide Inn also offers women's retreat packages where friends can learn about pioneer women history by participating in pioneer food and craft lessons. Fun, laughter, and late nights are all part of the weekend to give guests that perfect break with their friends. The hostess tailors the weekend to meet individual interests, but sessions on pioneer foods, latch hooking, wheatweaving, quilting, or gardening are all available.
Couples and families enjoy picnics in the nearby pasture, walking along the nature trail which winds amidst the rocks and hills, or jogging along the country roads. Families often have fun at the nearby Wilson Lake during the day and return to the inn for air conditioned comfort in the evening.
Guests enjoy the big front porch where they can experience the early morning sunrise, the wide open blue sky, and the starry nights. King- and queen-sized beds await guests at the end of relaxing days, and travelers look forward to the homemade Scandinavian or American breakfasts.
