Prairie Park Nature Center

71-acre park contains: a 7-acre virgin prairie with 180 species of plants, wildflowers and native grasses, 7-acre Mary's Lake, a wooded environment, and neighborhood park. These geographic features are interpreted through exhibits and education programs at the public center. Programs include permanent exhibits, aquariums, bird watching area, field trips, and a variety of outdoor education and nature classes for children to adults.
