Paradise Ranch Adventures LLC
Paradise Ranch Adventures is an “Experience” in the Flint Hills just waiting for you. Nestled in a remote area near historic Council Grove, Kansas, the Ranch is home to the “All Wether Marching Band” (a wether is a neutered male goat.) This well-traveled tribe is the largest group of working Pack goats in the U.S.A. The Ranch is also home to six mammoth trail donkeys that include “Jaxon,” believed to be the largest trail Donkey in the country at 16.2 hands. The family of owners, Dwite and Mary Sharp, has lived in Morris County for eight generations. Dwite’s great- great grandfather was an ox team driver on the Santa Fe Trail, which is located a couple miles south of the ranch. The actual Ranch is located on the site of the original Kaw Indian reservation. The ranch was intended to be a paradise for all the different creatures that live there, thus the name Paradise Ranch. Chickens, guineas, turkeys, dogs, mammoth donkeys and seven plus breeds of goats reside there in harmony. These creatures are very docile and approachable by all ages. Paradise Ranch Adventures offers on site tours, horse drawn hay rides, trail rides (on and off site) live musical entertainment, day and overnight Pack goat trips with all the amenities. The meals served at the ranch functions are all homemade and are a wonderful experience all on their own. All ages will be thrilled by experiences that will last a life time. All stages of mobility can be accommodated so come let us make your day! Happy Trails, Dwite & Mary Sharp and All at Paradise Ranch Adventures!
