Matrot Castle

Matrot Castle. Seraphin Matrot, the 19th century French immigrant relocate to rural Topeka. He was a wine merchant. Oral tradition shows that he had only just escaped the guillotine before fleeing. He began building the castle and is said to be identical to the one he left in France.
