Hays House Restaurant & Tavern
First opened in 1857, you can enjoy fine dining in the oldest, continuously operated restaurant west of the Mississippi River. A steak house that gets patrons' raves about its fried chicken, ham and seafood dishes. Some of its specialties include fresh, homemade strawberry and peach pie and its own homemade ice cream. Open seven days a week - reservations accepted but are not required.
