Grinter Place State Historic Site
Moses Grinter, Indian trader and farmer, home built on the Delaware Reservation. The Grinters operated a ferry where the military road crossed the Kansas River in the 1850s. This site was also an early trading post for Moses Grinter with the Native Americans. This farmhouse, overlooking the Kansas River, features furnishings from the late nineteenth century. Tours available.
