The Columbian Theatre is in a restored 1890's theatre and is a venue for the exhibition of rare paintings from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair also known as the Columbian Exhibition. After extensive renovation, the theatre reopened in 1994 and holds 5 live productions each year in the Peddicord Playhouse as well as constantly changing art exhibits in the Swogger Gallery.
