Details
This historically accurate drama shows the clash between Native Americans & early settlers in Council Grove. Though their tribe was exiled from the state 139 years ago, members of the Kaw Nation return once again to their Kansas homeland to tell the story of their ancestors in the outdoor drama, Voices of the Wind People. Narrators are characters Seth Hays and Chief Al-le-ga-wa-ho (portrayed by his great-grandson, Luther Pepper). Voices of the Wind People is a multi-media presentation employing a series of live action scenes of both Council Grove citizens and Kaw Indians.
