The Arts Council of Dickinson County presents the 6th Annual Ladies’ Holiday Brunch on Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m. at the Eisenhower Presidential Library Courtyard. Come and join us for a scrumptious brunch and celebrate the season with a concert featuring many delightful holiday favorites performed by Willa Danner, Denise Blehm and Judy Weber. And, to add to the fun, there will also be door prizes given away by drawing. Tickets can be purchased at the Arts Council of Dickinson County, 203 N. Cedar, 263-1884. Advance tickets only.
Willa Danner, our featured vocalist, grew up in a musically talented family. She started singing at a very early age and traveled and sang with her brother and sister. She also had the opportunity to study privately with a voice instructor for several years. Willa is the founding member of the Celebration Quartet and has performed for many years with the Quartet and as a soloist at many churches, weddings and other events.
Violinist Denise Blehm, originally from Salina, has lived in Abilene for 7 years. She attended Wichita State University and was a member of the Wichita Symphony for 13 years. Currently, Denise is a private violin instructor in Abilene and Salina, the Concertmaster of the Salina Symphony and frequently performs in the Abilene and Salina area as a soloist and in a variety of ensembles.
The Ladies’ Holiday Brunch is presented in partnership with the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in joint mission to promote the arts in Dickinson County.
The Arts Council of Dickinson County is a non-profit organization supported by its members and dedicated to promoting the arts among families in Dickinson County.
