Be sure to catch one of the largest one day festivals in Kansas, jam packed with activities everyone loves. Tentative schedule includes a parade celebrating 10 years of Corn, Music...& Fun! Also, Miss and Little Miss Cornstock Pageant, Corn Dog Doxie Derby weiner dog races, Corn Hole Tournament, Little Niblets Playland, petting zoo, arts and crafts, food, and more TBA. Don't miss the Great Kansas Outdoor Fun Show with interactive exhibits, demonstrations, displays, and "Youth Gone Wild!". It's all about hunting, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, biking, ATVs and all that is the great outdoors!
The festival has inflatable rides, a 5K Run and many more activities, and then there's the food. A Community Breakfast kicks off the day (7-10 am) with bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, juices, coffee and fruit. The food court connected to the craft pavilion area provides an array of eating options throughout the day.
As the festival ends the concert begins! Don't miss the Cornstock Concert on the Hill featuring Jerrod Niemann, the Casey Donahew Band, and regional opening act Travis Marvin. There's more food and beverages found on the Hill. This concert is a "bring your own lawn chair" event and always has some added surprises for attendees.
There is no admission charged to enter the festival. Concert tickets or wristbands are required to enter the Cornstock Concert on the Hill. Parking is free. Free shuttle bus transportation is available. For event info visit www.accornfest.com, www.cornstock.net, and "Like" Anderson County Corn Festival on Facebook.
