2013 Volga German Society Oktoberfest/FHSU Homecoming

Oktoberfest is held in conjunction with Fort Hays State University Homecoming weekend. The event was first organized as a downtown celebration in 1976 and has become a traditional celebration of the Volga German Heritage of Ellis County. The event is now held annually in Frontier Park along Big Creek. Polka music, dancing, and over 80 booths providing German food, drinks and crafts.

Hours: 11 am to 7 pm.
