Farmer's Markets
Farmer's Markets in all areas of the state offer an opportunity for fresh produce, baked goods and crafts directly from the producer. Markets often provide stimulation for all your senses from the sounds of producers hawking their wares, to the smells of the season's homegrown fruits and vegetables and sometimes the delight of fresh baked goodies. The colorful array of flowers and produce such as tomatoes, peaches and melons create a visual feast for the eyes. Take your purchases home and eat them fresh or use them in some of our great Kansas recipes.
Farmer's Markets are typically open on Saturdays during the summer months of June-September, but some open as early as April and continue as late as November.
