Hoover Opera House.The Kelly Band, a Kansas City based Celtic band, will be playing at the opera house this Friday night. Hoover Opera House. The historic 19th century venue was renovated and re-opened for live performances in 2008. Its theater accommodates fully accessible seating for 424.The Opera house has a regional draw for its variety of shows. This is the first time the new Opera House has featured a special March Irish tribute in response to the requests of local audiences. Keep an eye on the upcoming season for an increasingly diverse offering at the venue.
