There, you’ll find plenty of banquets, beef-tasting bouts and all-you-can-eat steak cookouts. Hold onto your cowboy hat as the food-centered celebration hosts everything from cattle-health competitions and carnival rides to rodeos and roundups.
Since 1969, families and the industrious people behind beef production have flocked to the annual event. This year, enjoy a chuckwagon breakfast, then watch how cowboys work the herd in competitions of branding, roping and trailer loading. Get acquainted with the industry’s latest equipment or learn how award-winning stock and their caretakers take the blue ribbons. Other events include cutting-horse competitions, a parade and softball tournament.
Event: Beef Empire Days
